Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and The Sports Bible (“SportsBible”, “we”, “us”) and cover your use of sportsbible.io, the SportsBible browser extension and everything they offer (the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a membership or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use SportsBible

You must be at least 21 years old and located in the United States. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply where you are, including any laws about sports wagering. The Service is not available where it would be unlawful.

2. What SportsBible is, and what it is not

SportsBible is a sports information and market analysis service. It shows scores, schedules, sportsbook prices collected from third parties, price comparisons such as fair lines and edges, and written summaries, some produced by artificial intelligence.

• We are not a sportsbook. We do not accept, place, hold or settle wagers, hold your money, or award prizes of any kind.
• Nothing on SportsBible is betting, financial or legal advice, and no price, pick, “Play of the Day”, tier or edge is a prediction or a guarantee of any result or profit. Market prices are comparisons, not forecasts.
• Data comes from third parties and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Prices change quickly. Always confirm the current price, line and rules at the sportsbook before acting. Any decision to wager is yours alone, at your own risk.

3. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password private, and do not share your account. One membership is for one person. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at charles@sportsbible.io if you believe it has been used without your permission.

4. Membership, free trial and automatic renewal

• Membership costs $15 per week after a 7-day free trial, plus any applicable taxes. The price is shown at checkout before you pay.
• Your membership renews automatically every week and your payment method is charged at the start of each week until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
• If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged. A payment method is required to start the trial.
• Cancel any time from your account page (Manage billing). Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the week you have paid for.
• If a payment fails, access may pause until it succeeds. We may change the price with at least 7 days’ notice by email or in the Service; the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice, and you can cancel before then.
• Promotion codes are optional discounts on the terms shown when the code is issued. They have no cash value, cannot be combined unless we say so, and may be withdrawn at any time for future use. A discount already applied to your membership continues on its terms.

5. Refunds

Weekly charges are not refundable, including for a partly used week, except where the law requires otherwise or we have charged you in error. Deleting your account cancels your membership immediately, without a refund for the current week. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us at charles@sportsbible.io before disputing it with your bank, and we will look into it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell, republish or redistribute data or content from the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
• access the Service with bots or automated tools, or try to get around rate limits, access controls or security;
• share your account, or give others access to members-only content;
• reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, including wagering where it is not permitted, or to harass, threaten, impersonate or defraud anyone.

7. Your posts and profile

You own what you post (community posts, your profile, username and photo). You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and share it with other members to run the Service, for as long as it is on the Service. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, or that infringes someone’s rights, and do not post other people’s personal information. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Sports Agent and other AI features

AI-generated answers are drafts built from the data we show and, sometimes, web search results. They can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, and are not advice. Your questions are sent to a third-party AI provider to produce the answer, so do not include personal or sensitive information in them.

9. The browser extension

The SportsBible Bet Import extension copies only the text you select on a page when you click it, and sends it to your SportsBible account only when you choose to save it. It does not log in to, connect to or act on your sportsbook account. You are responsible for following your sportsbook’s terms when you use it.

10. Third-party services

The Service links to and uses other companies’ services, including Stripe for payments and sportsbooks and prediction markets for prices. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is under their terms.

11. Our content and rights

The Service, its software, design and our own content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own use while your account is in good standing. Team names, logos and marks belong to their owners and do not imply any endorsement.

12. Responsible gaming

If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, or visit ncpgambling.org. Sportsbooks offer limits and self-exclusion; use them.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other members. If we end your membership without cause, we will refund any unused part of a week you paid for.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service or its data will be uninterrupted, timely, accurate or free of errors.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, wagering losses, lost data or lost opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, please contact us at charles@sportsbible.io so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any claim that is not resolved must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 7 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, cancel before they take effect.

19. General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
